Graham Reed

Liberal Democrat Candidate for Shipley

General Election 2024

Graham graduated from the University of Stirling in 2000 and is a Fellow and Master of British Society of Scientific Glassblower

Professionally, he spent his career in the manufacture of scientific glass. He was the business founder of Sci-Glass Consultancy and the Chair of the British Society of Scientific Glassblowers and its Examination Board. His trainees now manage businesses and lead university workshops.

He also has considerable experience in many aspects of renewable energy equipment including small-scale wind turbines, solar PV and thermal panels, heat pumps and bio-mass systems.

Graham will be campaigning for action to tackle the cost-of-living crisis, the NHS crisis and the sewage scandal.

“For years, people in Shipley have been taken for granted by the Conservative Government. They have repeatedly failed us - it's time for a change.

Health services are struggling, people’s mortgages and rents are too high, and our rivers and becks are polluted with sewage.

The Conservative government have no vision for the future of the country. The Labour Party have bankrupted Bradford District Council – neither can be trusted!

A vote for the Liberal Democrats is a vote for a fair deal for Shipley.
